Palace Of Fine Arts April 20, 2014

Palace Of Fine Arts
April 20, 2014

I usually end up taking photos of the Palace Of Fine Art at night, but this morning her beauty and majesty was glowing like crazy and I took these stunning shots. These shots remind me that, if Heaven exists, it can't be much more beautiful than San Francisco!

Bird Parked On A Perch

Bird Parked On A Perch

Today, I was getting some sun, while admiring the beauty of the Palace Of Fine Arts, and when I looked up, I noticed I was not the only one.  I thought the fact the Seagull was chillin' on top of the street light was kind of profoundly ironic for several reasons. First of all, due to the fact he was parked on top of the street light, and it said NO PARKING and 2 HOUR PARKING on the lighting post. Secondly, the fact the Seagulls facing the same direction as the eagle on the back of the USPS truck. Also the crosswalk looks kind of like the Beatles Abbey Road.

1974 Honda Civic Ad Palace Of Fine Arts

1974 Honda Civic Ad
Palace Of Fine Arts

This is a fascinating Honda Civic Ad from 1974 and it was taken in front of the Palace Of Fine Arts in the San Francisco Marina. It is amazing how timeless the Palace Of Fine Arts is, but the design of the Honda and clothes did not fare so well.

Palace Of Fine Arts

Palace Of Fine Arts
March 24, 2013
By Jake Ehrlich

I just took this stunning photo of the Palace Of Fine Arts at dusk. In my life I have taken zillions of photos of the Palace Of Fine Arts, and every time it looks different. I have often said, that if heaven exists, it can't be much more beautiful than San Francisco. Robert Redford agrees and said in 2003, "San Franciscans are very proud of their city and they should be. It's the most beautiful place in the world."

Birds Of A Feather Flock Together
Palace Of Fine Arts Pond

January 31, 2012

I was walking around the pond at the Palace Of Fine Arts in San Francisco, and I noticed that the big ducks seemed to be a little bit afraid of the other type of smaller ducks, and I just happened to capture it perfectly in this shot taken on New Years Eve afternoon 2012.

Star Wars Storm-Troopers Invade Palace Of Fine Arts

...A Long, Long Time Ago...

Star Wars Storm-Troopers Invade Palace Of Fine Arts

San Francisco, as Forest Gump famously said, "is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get next." So imagine my amazement one day–back in 2005– when I went down to the Palace of Fine Arts to take some photos and saw Star Wars Storm Troopers wanters around.
